About the Workshops

Each workshop is 1 hour by Zoom (or 1.5 hours in person), focused on a teacher-specific use of AI.


SESSION DESCRIPTION
Better Lesson Plans This session helps teachers use AI to quickly draft and revise lesson plans aligned to standards and tailored to student needs. It tackles the time crunch teachers face in planning high-quality lessons amid competing demands.
Data Analysis and Goal Setting Teachers will learn to use AI tools to make sense of assessment data and generate actionable goals for students. This session addresses the overwhelm many educators feel when trying to interpret data and plan instruction accordingly.
Assessing Learning This session shows how AI can help design formative assessments, rubrics, and feedback mechanisms in minutes, as well as provide meaningful feedback to students. It relieves the pressure teachers feel when trying to accurately measure student understanding and growth.
Student Engagement Explore ways AI can support interactive learning strategies, creative content, and differentiated tasks to boost student motivation. This session targets the frustration of disengaged classrooms and the struggle to keep all learners interested.
Classroom Management This workshop shows how AI can generate positive behavior strategies, classroom routines, and restorative prompts tailored to your students. It supports teachers who are exhausted by constant behavior challenges and want proactive tools.
Preventing Cheating & Levels of AI Use Learn how to guide students in ethical AI use and design assignments that discourage misuse, with a focus on the five levels of AI engagement. This session addresses the uncertainty teachers feel about academic integrity in the AI era.
Connecting with Parents Teachers will explore AI-driven tools to streamline parent communication, including messages, translations, and updates. This session helps reduce the stress of maintaining regular, meaningful contact with families—especially across language barriers.
Planning for All Students (Differentiation) This session demonstrates how to use AI to adjust instruction for reading levels, IEP accommodations, and multilingual learners. It tackles the challenge of meeting diverse student needs without requiring hours of extra planning.
